We congratulate
to all our Iranian people and all our patiots we also wish that these tourism couple
to get all their cultural goals in this journey, we demand from our Iranian patiots
to support this journey and these couple where ever they are in this world. also
Mrs. and Mr. gheydi wanted us to gift the pictures of this Inscription to all their
Iranian patiots; with this hope that the people of our country have them in mind
and wish them good luck. At the end we say good luck to Mrs. and Mr. gheydi and
we thank them for their endeavors.
The full text of Persian translated Xerxes's Inscription in the Van lake of
eastern turkey (The original Inscription is written in three languages: ancient Persian,
ilamian, Babylonian):
-The great god is AHORAM
MAZDA which is the greatest of gods
-Which created this land
and created that sky
-Which created happiness
for people
-Which made Xerxes
the king
-The only ruler of abundantly
-I Xerxes, the great
king, king of kings
-King of abundant people
-King in this extensive and
far land
-The son of darius the achaemenian
king
-Xerxes says: darius
the king which was my father, with the will of Ahora Mazda, made beautiful palaces
and he ordered to make this Inscription.
-But no scrip was written
on it
-After that i ordered to
write this scrip.
-Ahora mazda to keep my gods
and my monarch and what I've made.
At the
end we thank the people who helped us during this journey, masters, Dr.Shahrokh
razmjou, Dr.chitsaz, Dr.ebrahim shah, Mohamad hosein nourizad, reza samari, Amir
ramezanee doraki, hosein soltanzadeh and our partners in the Iranian cultural center
in Ankara.
